Lifestart Kayak for Kids is Lifestart’s major annual fundraising event. We ask all participants to support our fundraising and set themselves a target of what they believe they can achieve. All donations to Kayak for Kids are tax deductible and every dollar raised goes directly to Lifestart’s Early Childhood Intervention Service and  School Age Services for children living with delay.

Please Note:
In some instances, people have registered under different names and are contributing to the one company for their fundraising. Many people have provided offline donations directly to Lifestart that will not be shown on their online fundraising pages.

Getting the funds safely to Lifestart.

Lifestart receives some government funding, but a lot of our financial support comes from community fundraising, donations, bequests and other activities. On behalf of the children and families at Lifestart, we thank you in advance and greatly appreciate you choosing to fundraise for children living with disability and delay.

Lifestart has deductible gift recipient (DGR 444769) status. All donations $2.00 and over are tax deductible.

Here’s how to send in the money you raise at your fundraising event and/or your offline sponsorship money:

• Create a supporter page online at Everyday Hero and send the link to family, friends and colleagues to donate to your cause.

• Download a Kayak for Kids Sponsorship Form for collecting sponsorship.

• Download a Lifestart Donation Form Kayak for Kids to pay in the money raised to Lifestart direct.

• All cheques should be made payable to “Lifestart Co-operative Ltd”

• Please remember to state your name, address and title of your fundraising event / activity in all correspondence, so we can thank you and acknowledge receipt of your funds.

• Please also enclose any sponsor forms with the names/addresses of your sponsors and whether they would like us to provide a receipt for their donation.
